Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s first DLC pack, Awakening, is finally heading to Xbox 360 next week, Major Nelson has confirmed – three months after it debuted on other platforms.
Awakening will be available on Microsoft’s last-gen platform next Thursday, May 5, days after this year’s Call of Duty is expected to be revealed. Awakening debuted on PS4 back in February before heading to Xbox One and PC in March. It arrived on PS3 earlier this month on Tuesday, April 5.
The DLC includes four new maps – Gauntlet, Splash, Rise and Skyjacked – plus a new Zombies chapter.
By now, of course, PS4 players are already playing Black Ops 3’s second DLC pack, Eclipse, with a release expected on Xbox One and PC in mid-May. Neither Eclipse or Black Ops 3’s two future DLCs will be released on Xbox 360 or PS3, however.
This year’s Call of Duty, rumoured to be called Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, is expected to be revealed before next Tuesday, May 3. A remaster of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is also rumoured to be in development.
