Majesco has announced that a version of Black & White is in development for the Nintendo DS and the Sony PSP. The game titled Black & White Creatures is designed to make the most out of each handhelds features.

The Nintendo DS version will feature touch screen controls, allowing the player to train their creature using the stylus, and the system’s microphone will let players use voice to praise or hurl abuse at their creature. WiFi modes will allow players to put their creatures head-to-head and a number of mini-games will be available to give you a break from the single-player game.

Little has been revealed on the PSP version of the game, but expect it to include similar wireless features and enhanced visuals, but it will obviously be lacking the touch screen controls of the Nintendo DS version.

We’ll try and get some more information on the game at E3 next week.
