In the build-up to the January 29 release of Mass Effect 2, project manager Casey Hudson revealed that the game will be supported with a “pretty intense schedule of downloadable content”, but didn’t specify when this content will be released or at what price it will be made available.
In a Twitter post late last week the developer confirmed that the game will be supported with launch day DLC – better yet it’ll be free.
“BioWare will not be charging extra for any new Mass Effect 2 content on launch day,” revealed the Tweet. “More DLC details next week.”
Mass Effect 2 is scheduled for release on January 29 for Xbox 360 and PC.
