BioWare is currently investigating reports of a new exploit that has reared its head since the launch of Star Wars: The Old Republic’s recent 1.1 update.

Players have found that in high-level PvP on Ilum it is possible to exploit the spawning of turrets.

“We’re currently investigating potential issues related to the Ilum open world PVP area post 1.1,” explained BioWare’s Joveth Gonzalez on the official forum.

Later he added that an official investigation is underway, however it may be some time before users are updated on the situation:

“I just wanted to let you know that we are currently working on an official response to these issues (we used the term “potential” during our initial investigating, and have now removed the wording on the title of this thread) and we will be posting it soon. Please understand that these issues require some time to investigate and we are making sure that we provide you all with the most updated information in our official response.”

This follows news earlier in the month of a bug that renders dancing avatars invincible against enemies during the duration of the dance.

Star Wars: The Old Republic’s first major content patch, Rise of the Rakghouls, has released after a slight delay this week to clear up a few remaining bugs.
