The next Mass Effect 3 DLC is being given every chance of being the best yet, with a team of eight BioWare Edmonton writers at work on the content.

BioWare Edmonton is the studio behind the original trilogy, whereas BioWare Montreal created the most recent and disappointing Omega DLC.

“It’s all hands on deck for this one,” wrote BioWare designer Jos Hendriks on BioWare Social. “Pretty much every Mass Effect 3 DLC writer here in Edmonton is involved. If my math skills are correct [that means] eight.”

Mass Effect 3 chief composer Sam Hulick is also set to return, having last been seen scoring the extended ending.

Writing on Twitter Hulick suggested the new DLC will be a bit of a tearjerker.

“Tossing in piano and muted strings for this one particular piece. High potential for tears.”

Seth Green, who voices Normandy Pilot Joker, also seems likely to return in DLC content, although it’s not clear from Tweets posted last week whether he’ll be in the next content or something further down the line.

“@SethGreen Thank you for yet another fantastic session. And thank you for being such a kind person,” wrote BioWare producer and voice director Caroline Livingstone.

“You are lovely!”

Green has so far not appeared in any Mass Effect 3 DLC, and he’s not the only voice actor working with BioWare on DLC content. Raphael Sbarge (Kaiden Alenko) revealed on Twitter that he too has been back in the studio.

According to files found inside existing DLC packs, the next content will focus on the Citadel.
