Speaking on the latest episode of The 1099 (via PSU), Dragon Age creative director Mike Laidlaw said that the Dragon Age team is ‘hiring a lot of people’ currently, and that a sequel to Jade Empire may happen in the future.
Laidlaw spoke about the much-loved PC and original Xbox title Jade Empire, saying ‘Jade Empire 2 was talked about. It was certainly considered. I think it’s still possible there could be a Jade 2.’
But BioWare’s focus is on Dragon Age right now, apparently, with the studio ‘hiring a lot of people’ for the DA team. ‘It’s no secret we’re doing something with Dragon Age,’ Laidlaw told host Josiah Renaudin. ‘I can’t talk about what, but we’re certainly involved in something.’
