Capcom has today announced the development of Bionic Commando Rearmed, a complete makeover of the classic 8-bit video game originally released 20 years ago for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
Bionic Commando Rearmed retains the classic 2D side scrolling, shooting and grappling action from the loved 80s title and promises to enhance this with new visuals, new weapons, online ranking, a reworked musical score and a two-player co-op mode.
Bionic Commando Rearmed will also feature “cross-game interoperability” with completed parts of Rearmed unlocking new content and insight into characters and plot of the all-new Bionic Commando sequel coming later this year.
