Capcom has confirmed the development of Bionic Commando Rearmed 2, scheduled for release in Q1 2011 for Xbox LIVE Arcade and PSN.
The sequel to the acclaimed 2008 retro remake, Rearmed 2 will see the bionically enhanced Spencer facing off against his greatest challenge – he must prevent General Sabio, a new technologically sophisticated foe, from launching a deadly missile attack.
In addition to his trademark bionic grappling hook, Nathan Spencer has been given upgraded abilities to include a jump move.
Co-op play also returns, while we’re promised improved visuals with the addition of more detailed character models, textures, and vibrant colours.
