Beyond: Two Souls, the supernatural thriller starring Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe, has sold over a million units on PS3, developer Quantic Dream has announced.
The announcement included a word cloud on the studio’s website.
A note attached to the word “million” adds: “Beyond: Two Souls sold through 1 million units shortly before Christmas 2013. A million thanks!”
Beyond launched for PS3 in October 2013 to a mixed bag of reviews.
Heavy Rain, David Cage’s previous title, sold one million copies in just five weeks, and went on to sell over three million units worldwide.
