Team17 has announced a partnership with Netherlands based independent developer tiger & squid to bring Beyond Eyes to console and PC in 2015.

Beyond Eyes stars Rae, a blind girl who uses her remaining senses to visualize the world around her. Having lost her eyesight in an accident that left her traumatized Rae fears loud noises and public spaces, leaving her trapped in her house.

When Rae’s cat Nani goes missing she must go on a journey to be reunited with her feline companion.

“I’m super excited to be part of Team17’s Partner Program because it gives me the opportunity to create the best version of Beyond Eyes possible, allowing me complete creative freedom while having Team17’s experienced support network in place,” said said Sherida Halatoe, developer at tiger & squid. “One of the great things about Team17 is that they love and support games in all shapes and sizes, providing all the feedback and help that the individual partners might need.”

Look out for the game at EGX later this month.
