A trademark application for Fallout 4 has been discovered just days after a teaser site thought to be linked to the unannounced RPG appeared online.

According to the filing, Bethesda Softworks registered a trademark for ‘Fallout 4’ last Thursday, around the same time thesurvivor2299.com surfaced online.

The website currently features a countdown clock pointing to a reveal at 8pm GMT on Wednesday, December 11, and a message in Morse Code.

Bethesda has yet to officially acknowledge the website, but a WhoIs listing reveals that the domain is owned by parent company ZeniMax Media.

The most recent Fallout game, Fallout: New Vegas, launched in October 2010.
