After a somewhat topsy-turvy development – the game was announced back in 2004 for the PC, PS2 and Xbox – the game will finally be released on February 9, and gamers will have a choice of PC and Xbox 360 versions.

Bringing new life to the epic naval battles of World War II, the game is a blend of real-time strategy and action, with players able to instantly switch between every vehicle under their command.

Together with a lengthy single-player campaign, the game offers a complete online experience, going head-to-head or playing cooperatively with more than 100 units at your disposal.

Battlestations: Midway will be released on February 9 for Xbox 360 and PC, and you can read much more about the game in Pro-G’s Battlestations: Midway preview.
