Not content with confirming Battlefield V will be jumping on board the battle royale bandwagon, DICE has revealed a brand new multiplayer-focused trailer for its upcoming World War II shooter during EA Play this evening.

There's a lot of emphasis on air combat in this one, with troop carriers being swatted out of the sky by nimble German BF-109s; one poor chap even meets a bloody end as he's introduced to the business end of a propeller as a plane crashes.

The trailer ends with a what are presumably mother and daughter being separated on a bridge, with the latter plummeting into the icy waters to avoid capture.

Check it out below. Battlefield V is due for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on October 19.
