EA has today announced it will release a demo for Battlefield: Bad Company on June 5, offering gamers the chance to experience the single-player and multiplayer game modes.

The demo will be released for Xbox 360 and PS3 via their respective online stores and will provide players with a peek at how tactical destruction changes the way first-person shooters are played.

Early access to the demo will also be offered by pre-ordering the game through participating retailers in North America and Europe.

The multiplayer element features the Gold Rush mode on the Oasis map, while the single-player portion introduces players to the set of characters that make up B company.

Battlefield: Bad Company is scheduled for release in North America on June 25 and across Europe on June 27.
