The release date and time countdown for when Battlefield 6 will come out is nearly over, and fans can still pre-order to get an assortment of bonuses. BF6 is the newest installment in the legendary Battlefield series, and there’s a lot of anticipation following its impressive betas that crushed previous Battlefield player counts. The game is much-needed competition for Call of Duty, and DICE has promised that Battlefield 6 is aiming for “gritty realism” in comparison to CoD that has become more like Fortnite. We cannot wait for BF6 to launch, and we don’t have too much longer to wait.

Battlefield 6 release date

The release date for Battlefield 6 is October 10th. There’s no early access pre-order bonus for the game, but some have managed to get their hands on physical copies early.

As per usual, the game will once again be competing with the juggernaut that is Call of Duty. This year’s Call of Duty is Black Ops 7, and it doesn’t come out until November 14th. Speaking about the competition between the two franchises, former Blizzard president, Mike Ybarra, has said he hopes BF6 will “boot stomp” Black Ops 7 so that CoD “won’t be so lazy anymore”.

Another issue with the new upcoming Call of Duty is the increased prices for Xbox Game Pass. Just last year the newest Call of Duty came to Xbox Game Pass on day one, but they are now day one for the Ultimate tier only.
