Battlefield 6 gameplay leaks have emerged from the current Lab playtests, and they show thermal scopes in action. BF6 is currently on course to come out on October 10th, and this is arguably the most anticipated Battlefield of all time as its beta crushed player count records for the franchise. While we only have a month to wait until we can participate in the warfare, there are leaks emerging online showing gameplay from closed demos.

Courtesy of BattlePulse (as spotted by Insider Gaming), leaks have emerged showing thermal scopes in Battlefield 6 from the current round of Lab playtests. Per BattlePulse, the leak shows that, when using thermal scopes, “Enemies [are] easy to spot, even at range,” and “Recon players get a huge tactical advantage”.

We will have to wait until release day to see how well everything is balanced. Leading up to the game’s release, DICE has confirmed other concerns such as scope glint are “here to stay,” and that destruction will happen naturally on the battlefield as opposed to just being part of spectacular set-pieces.

It’s also confirmed that there is a server browser in the game, meanwhile, DICE have attempted to ease the concerns of fans worried about aesthetically unappealing crossover skins such as Beavis and Butthead in Call of Duty.

Again, Battlefield 6 comes out on October 10th, which is a whole month before Call of Duty Black Ops 7 releases on November 14th. The competition between CoD and BF is fierce, and former-Blizzard president, Mike Ybarra, has said he hopes BF6 will “boot stomp” Black Ops 7 so CoD “won’t be lazy anymore”.
