Battlefield 4 was the most downloaded PS4 game on the European PlayStation Store last month, despite it being almost 3 years old.
The game’s success is, of course, down to last month’s price promotion, which saw the shooter reduced to just £3.99. Battlefield Hardline saw similar success, too, finishing behind Battlefield 4 at No.2. A bundle containing both games (which was available for just over £7) also finished at No.5.

Battlefield 4 was a PS4 launch title back in November 2013, but remains popular with online players today. Hardline, meanwhile, launched in March 2015 but wasn’t quite so well received by fans.
The next game in the series, Battlefield 1, launches on PS4, Xbox One and PC this October.
