Battlefield’s fifth and final expansion pack Final Stand will roll out to Premium members on all platforms tomorrow, November 18, EA has announced.
The DLC will be available to non-Premium subscribers two weeks later on December 2.
Final Stand takes the fight to the hazardous Arctic regions of Russia, where soldiers will be tasked with fighting their enemy in extreme weather using brand new futuristic weapons.
Four new multiplayer maps are featured, including the “blizzard-ridden” Operation Whiteout and “thrilling” submarine base Hammerhead, along with military installation Hangar 21 and weapons factory Giants of Karelia.
“We’ve worked hard to ensure you’ll have a blast with the new weapons, gadgets, and vehicles featured in Final Stand,” said DICE. “You’ll traverse the environments with the new Snowmobile and use the strafing abilities of the new Hovertank. High-tech prototype weapons like the devastating railgun Rorsch MK-1 should also give an itch to your trigger finger.”
Expect the DLC to cost £11.99 when it releases separately.
It was revealed earlier this month that the next major Battlefield title is due to release in late 2016, following the launch of Battlefield Hardline in March 2015.
