DICE has announced Battlefield 4 Battlefest, a month-long festival “built for gamers” offering daily giveaways, free DLC and, to three lucky winners, “a massive prize”.
Battlefest kicks off this Saturday, July 12, with a Double XP weekend and a daily screenshot competition where players can win an AMD graphics card, $50 gift card for the DICE Store and a Battlefield 4 Premium membership.
Free camo unlocks will also be offered to players each week, while global community challenges will give players the chance to win free Gold Battlepacks.
The biggest prize of all, though, (which the developer suggests could be a gaming PC) will go to the winners of DICE’s Stunt Video competition, a month long contest where the the developer asks players to send in their best stunt video “that can only be done in Battlefield 4”. Entries must be received between July 14 and August 2, with the community voting on the top 12 to determine three lucky winners.
“And there it is, a month filled with fun activities and prizes to be given that we hope you’ll enjoy,” says DICE. “But that’s not all, we have more surprises in store that we’re excited to share in the next couple weeks. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled. Happy Summer Gaming!”
Battlefield 4’s latest DLC, Dragon’s Teeth, launches to Premium members next Tuesday, July 15.
