Battlefield 3: Team Deathmatch will support up to a maximum of 24 players on all platforms, DICE has revealed. What’s more the mode will focus entirely on infantry – you won’t be jumping into any vehicles.
The 24-player limit might sound bad when compared to the 64-player max for Conquest mode, but according to BF3Blog the maps will be much tighter, with the action more intense.
The blog also points out that Bad Company 2’s squad deathmatch was only 16 players and worked just fine.
Battlefield 3 will be released October 28 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
