DICE has announced that the Battlefield 3 Physical Warfare Pack is now available to download for free on PlayStation Network.
PC and Xbox 360 players will be able to get hold of it at a later date, though an earlier blunder on Xbox Live meant 360 owners were temporarily able to download the pack, which has now been removed.
The Physical Warfare Pack includes a Type 88 light machine gun with bipod, the SKS sniper rifle flash suppressor, and armour-piercing flechette ammo for the DAO-12 semi-automatic shotgun. It will also unlock the DAO-12.
The Physical Warfare Pack was previously exclusive to customers who pre-ordered Battlefield 3 at either Game or Gamestation.
Battlefield 3’s first chunk of DLC, Back to Karkand, is out now on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
