The Battlefield 3 demo – powered by DICE’s Frostbite 2 engine – certainly impressed yesterday at E3. However, considering the power of system it was running on, many of us were left wondering how proficiently our more modest system set ups would handle the game.
Gamefront suggests that the following specs will be required for Battlefield 3, although without a concrete source it’s possible they may be slightly off the mark.

Processor: Core 2 Duo @ 2.0GHz
RAM: 2GB
Graphic card: DirectX 10 or 11 compatible Nvidia or AMD ATI card.
Graphics card memory: 512 MB
Hard drive: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version
