DICE has released version 1.03 of Battlefield 3 on the PlayStation 3, fixing the VOIP issues that have been plaguing Sony’s version of the popular shooter.

There is no full changelog for the update, but the patch weighs a modest 11mb in size (as reported by MP1st) and does not apparently contain any other updates or fixes.

DICE has also said Battlefield 3 will receive another update in February, which will deny players the ability to deploy mortars from their spawn and make some of the trickier ribbons (such as M-COM Defender) easier to obtain.

Last week it was hinted that DICE and EA might announce new DLC for Battlefield 3 this week.
