Battlefield 3 will be playable in the UK this weekend at the insomnia43 UK LAN party at the Telford International Centre.
This will be the first opportunity for UK gamers to get their hands on Battlefield 3, months ahead of its planned October launch. Battlefield 3 will makes its UK debut on Sunday August 28.
Gamers will be able to play the game’s Squad Deathmatch game-mode, pitting two teams of 4 against each other.
Taking place August 26-29 insomnia43 has been confirmed as the biggest ever UK LAN party, with over £50,000 up for grabs for those entering its gripping multiplayer tournaments.
“This is a real coup for insomnia43,” said Craig Fletcher, managing director, Multiplay UK, organiser of the event. “It will be the first time gamers will be able to see for themselves why Battlefield 3 has been garnering so much praise. It’s a stunning game, and one which is sure to draw a crowd.”
