Battlefield 3 is once again experiencing connectivity issues across Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, DICE has confirmed.
Taking to Twitter in response to player Tweets, the official Battlefield account said: “After the planned maintenance, we have become aware of some backend issues we are working to resolve. Please stand by.”
Also stating: “Be advised: We are seeing connectivity issues on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 back-end. DICE/EA are working on resolving the problem.”
The game entered the UK Video Game Chart at No.1 and has already shipped 10 million units worldwide.
Battlefield 3 has enjoyed a hugely successful launch, selling an estimated five million copies to consumers, but gamers have had to put up with ongoing server issues from day one. If gamers needed a reason to move back to Call of Duty next week, EA is doing its best to give them one.
