To celebrate the reveal of Battlefield 4’s multiplayer, DICE is giving away Battlefield 3’s second expansion pack Close Quarters for free to all Battlefield 3 players.

A page on the official Battlefield website with details on how to download the expansion pack should soon be available here. The DLC normally costs £11.99/1200 Microsoft Points.

Battlefield 4’s multiplayer was revealed earlier today during EA’s E3 press conference. The game features 64-player multiplayer and reintroduces Commander Mode, a fan-favourite mode from Battlefield 2 which lets a single-player issue commands and call in remote military support.

Commanders will also be able to take command using an iPad or Android tablet.
