The Battlefield 1 Open Beta will begin August 31 on PS4, Xbox One and PC, EA has announced. Early access will be granted to fans who have signed up as a Battlefield Insider and chosen their platform before August 21.

In the beta players will be able to access Conquest and Rush modes on the new Sinai Desert map. The map offers support for up to 64 players and includes a new controllable Armoured Train, ridable horses and three new Elite Classes: Sentry, Flame Trooper and Tank Hunter.

Battlefield 1 actually has three release dates. The game is officially in stores on October 21, but those who pre-order the Early Enlister Deluxe Edition can start playing on October 18. Furthermore, EA Access and Origin Access members can try Battlefield 1 from October 13 as part of a limited time Play First Trial.
