ORIGINAL STORY: A new image of this year’s Battlefield has appeared on the Xbox One dashboard ahead of its official reveal, indicating that the game could be set during World War 1.
The image appears to show a man wearing a trench coat while holding a Mauser pistol and spiked trench club. An airship can also be seen flying above him in the background, while a gas mask and various other weaponry appears to be attached to his belt.
The image was originally captured by multiple users on Reddit, although we’ve since been able to verify it for ourselves. Go and take a look in the Community section on your Xbox One right now if you want to see it for yourself.
The leak backs up earlier rumours claiming that the game could be set during World War 1. A full official reveal is due at 9pm tonight.
