In addition to an origins campaign, Warner Bros. Montreal’s recently announced Batman: Arkham Origins will feature a team-based multiplayer mode, sources have told Kotaku.
In the new mode you reportedly play as a member of gang headed-up by either Joker or Bane, and must take down Batman and Robin.
Villains said to be involved in the multiplayer mode – but not confirmed as playable – include Killer Croc, Deadshot, Firefly, Black Mask, Deathstroke, and “some kind of Electroman character”.
Batman: Arkham Origins will be released October 25 for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC. There’s no word yet on next-gen versions.
