Eidos Interactive and Warner Bros. Interactive have confirmed earlier rumours that the highly anticipated Batman: Arkham Asylum has been delayed.
“Eidos Interactive and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment can today confirm that Batman: Arkham Asylum will be released at the end of summer 2009,” explained a statement issued by Eidos. “This additional time will allow us to ensure Batman: Arkham Asylum is of the highest quality for gamers.”
According to retailers the game had been scheduled for release in June on Xbox 360, PS3 and Games for Windows PC. The delay could see the title hitting stores as late as August 2009.
