Bandai Namco has teamed up with Slightly Mad Studios to distribute crowd-funded racer Project CARS worldwide later this year.

“With a portfolio of prestigious, popular, and iconic titles under their wing, Bandai Namco are the perfect partners to bring our pioneering community-driven game to players around the world.” said Slightly Mad head Ian Bell, discussing today’s announcement.

Project CARS is set to feature “the largest track roster of any recent racing game”, according to Namco, which praises it for its “ground-breaking dynamic time of day & weather system” and “world-class graphics and handling”.

“We are tremendously happy to be collaborating with Slightly Mad Studios on this promising title,” added Namco’s Alberto González Lorca, “in which community expectations are fusing with racers expertise to craft the next generation of simulation!”

Project CARS rolls out on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Wii U and PC starting this November.
