RPG developer Larian Studios has revealed that it is working on a new entry in the veneralable series in the form of Baldur's Gate 3.

Revealed during the opening of last night's Google Stadia Connect livestream, so far there's not a huge amount of info, but an interview given by Larian director Swen Vincke with Eurogamer does reveal that the game will take place after the events of the first two games.

It'll run on the fifth Dungeons and Dragons  ruleset, and will be playable in solo or co-op. The press release says the game will 'offer a rich narrative with unparalleled player freedom, high-stakes decisions, unique companion characters and memorable combat.' And is being touted as Larian Studios' 'biggest production ever'.

There's no release date yet for the game, but more information is of course expected to be revealed over the coming months. Currently Larian will only confirm that the game will be released for PC and Google Stadia.
