With the full Baldur’s Gate 3 release just around the corner, players are now more excited than ever to jump into the fully realized vision from Larian Studios. Given the game was originally released into Early Access, players have been sharing their love of the already playable sections of Baldur’s Gate 3 and the depth it offers.

Taking to the Baldur’s Gate 3 Reddit one player shared their love for the game’s depth when it came to speaking with the dead. User Thanos-Inkling pointed out that if you simply cast ‘Speak with Dead’ on a character you’ve just killed they’ll refuse to speak to you. However, if you pair this with the ‘Disguise Self’ cast you’ll be able to trick the enemy into revealing all their secrets. They noted that this was a cool detail in the game that many might skip over. It appears this might have been the case as well as a number of players were quick to note they hadn’t even thought of that strategy.

Other players were also eager to point out the multiple gameplay uses of the ‘Disguise Self’ cast with another player saying, “Disguise self is super good, you can apply race tags to yourself with it. If you turn yourself into a Drow you can just walk into the Blighted Village / Goblin Camp without any hassle. They don’t even turn hostile on repeat visits when you’re not disguised.”

If this one piece of info is anything to go by then players should have a load of fun with Baldur’s Gate 3’s depth when it fully releases on August 3 on PC and September 6 on PlayStation 5.
