DICE has announced that the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 servers will be taken down this weekend in order to increase the capacity to better handle the game’s online traffic.
Once maintenance is complete players are promised “an improvement” to their online experience.
Servers will go offline at 8am GMT on both Saturday and Sunday, although exactly how long they will remain offline hasn’t been stated.
This will be extended maintenance to allow the new hardware to be installed and will affect all three platforms.
