DICE has announced that the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 PC beta will run from January 28 through February 25.
The beta will feature the snowy Port Valdez map and support up to 32 players in the Rush game type.
The battle for Port Valdez is fought alongside the waterline towards a great oil industrial landscape in the Alaskan mountains. The Russian forces are launching an airborne assault to knock out the oil industries in the area. In their arsenal there are Main Battle Tanks as well as fast-moving Quad Bikes and mobile armoured AA.
Access to the beta will be granted to those who pre-order the game with selected retailers – further details are available on the DICE blog. The blog also mentions “alternate channels” to obtain a Closed Beta Key.
