The Deadly Tower of Monsters, described as a B-Movie style sci-fi themed intergalactic planetary voyage, is now available to buy on PS4, publisher Atlus have announced.

Developed by ACE Team, the game puts players inside a 1970s sci-fi film directed by Dan Smith, and stars actors Jonathan Digby as the valiant space explorer Dick Starspeed, Stacy Sharp as the fiery Scarlet Nova, and a poor uncredited actor as the trusty copilot, Robot.

Dick Starspeed and Robot crash land onto the hostile planet Gravoria where they eventually team up with Scarlet Nova. Players must guide Dick Starspeed and co. up the Deadly Tower of Monsters in order to confront Gravoria’s cruel emperor.

On your way up the tower you’ll encounter all manner of horrible beasts, such as stop-motion dinosaurs, gross slime creatures, giant ants, vicious lizard men, and more.

Players will also hear insightful commentary from director Dan Smith along the way.

The Deadly Tower of Monsters is priced £11.99 and is currently reduced to £7.79 for PS Plus members.
