The late Formula 1 legend Ayrton Senna is now a playable character in Angry Birds Go!, Rovio and the Ayrton Senna Institute have announced.
Senna becomes the fastest bird in the game, taking the place of Chuck.
To unlock Senna’s yellow helmet you need to win 41 races, just as many as Senna did during his Formula 1 career.
“Having one of the greatest Formula 1 drivers as an honorary member of the Angry Birds flock is a humbling milestone for Angry Birds Go!. We’re delighted to work with the IAS on this awesome collaboration!” said Wilhelm Taht, head of external products at Rovio.
Senna is part of the 1.8.4 free game update.
Rovio’s Angry Birds YouTube channel states: “Introducing Chuck as Ayrton Senna! A tribute to one of the most beloved F1 racers in history!”
We’re not sure being turned into a racing bird is really that much of a tribute.
