Away: The Survival Series announced with first trailer

If you've ever wanted to play as a Sugar Glider, Away: The Survival Series may be the game for you. Announced during last night's State of Play, the game sees you try to survive on a remote island as it gets hit by a series of natural disasters.

Speaking on the PlayStation Blog, developer Breaking Walls talked about how the team set out to 'create a visually stunning world filled with colourful, vibrant environments.' There'll be a range of other anmals trying to survive with you – or indeed, making things harder for you as both predator and prey.

Adding a legitmacy to the nature documentary ideal is a soundtrack worked on by audio director Mike Raznick, who worked on the soundtrack for BBC documentaries Life and Planet Earth II. Here's that trailer:

There's no release date for Away: The Survival Series yet, but it'll be landing on both PlayStation 4 and PC when it does arrive.
