Ever looked at Marvel's Avengers Infinity War and pondered what it'd look like if it were a Final Fantasy-style role-playing game from the SNES days? Well apparently Marvel has too, as its marketing maestros have released a new promo video in Japan that gives the superhero flick a 16-bit makeover.
The video depicts Black Widow, Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, and Star Lord squaring off against Thanos in a turn-based battle reminiscient of the classic Final Fantasy games. There's even menu selection, HP/MP (Doctor Strange has more MP, cause he's a sorcerer, dontcha know) and other neat RPG staples. I'd definitely play it, for sure.
Check it out below. Avengers Infinity War hits cinemas on April 27, although you can experience it for yourself (sort of) in Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 with the Infinity War Character and Level Pack.
