Mundfish’s Atomic Heart got a new teaser trailer, and it’s a lot (via PC Gamer).

With this trailer, the developer invites us to “take a closer look at the laboratory of the USSR, which is used to carry out experiments on people and construct robots.” There’s floating goo tubes, flying robot drill worms, robotic corpses, a magical robot bee, an angry rolling robot, telekinesis, big hammers, a very normal-looking lady, balloons with lasers, and a really big tree.

Atomic Heart is an immersive first-person shooter, and it riffs off of titles like BioShock, Metro, and Prey. Last month, we learned that it uses crafting and looting elements to upgrade abilities and weaponry, and survival mechanics to push players to think outside the gloop. The game’s premise is that the Soviet Union reached incredible heights in its scientific and technological advancements, and KGB agent P-3 is tasked with the investigation of one research facility that has gone dark. The answer isn’t as simple as it seems, and P-3 will fight for their life while discovering the truth of what went wrong here.

Also, robot bees.

Atomic Heart is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Watch the new trailer below.
