Atlas Fallen wasn’t met with the warmest response when it launched last year, holding a lukewarm 60s score on Metacritic. Still, for those not wanting to shell out the full price there’s potentially a bit of good news; it’s rumored to be coming to Game Pass.
That’s according to eXtas1stv, who went on to say that Deck13 Interactive’s third-person RPG will be arriving on to the service ‘soon’. This is purely a rumor for now so, with July’s Game Pass games only added a few days ago, we may need to wait a few more weeks to see if Atlas Fallen makes the cut. If it does, it’ll only be for those on Xbox Series X / S and PC, as it wasn’t released on the older Xbox One console when it first launched.
Sadly, Atlas hasn’t got a huge player base. At the time of writing there are just 27 people playing the game, according to SteamDB. It’s clearly a decent game (IGN even went so far as to refer to it as a ‘hidden gem’ but with an all-time high of a little over 2500 players, it has struggled to find an audience. Perhaps Game Pass could bring new life into the game?
For those interested in trying it out, Game Pass presents the perfect opportunity. Those well versed in open-world RPGs will be right at home here, exploring vast areas and battling monsters along the way. Where the game really comes alive is the co-operative combat, where the pair of you can explore the varied map in search of treasures.
This isn’t the first time eXtas1s has leaked potential arrivals to Game Pass. He’s also correctly predicted Lords of the Fallen’s additon to the service.
