GTR 2 – FIA GT Racing Game is the follow up to the acclaimed GTR from SimBin. The game was praised for its attention to detail and levels of realism that wowed racing sim fanatics all over the world. GTR 2 is set to build on this success when it’s released across Europe in September.

The game will feature 140+ accurately modelled cars from two full FIA GT seasons, with a higher level of racing detail than ever seen before. Cars will scuff, dent, and break, with slight twists of the chassis altering the car’s handling. If you find racing sims a little tricky, then you’ll benefit from the included driving school, teaching rookie drivers the in and outs of cornering, breaking and overtaking.

We are extremely pleased with the critical and commercial successes of the original GTR, with the strong relationship we have with the first-rate 10tacle studios and with the way that GTR 2 is gearing up,” said Cyril Voiron, Marketing Director, Atari Europe. “GTR 2 is a superb follow up to an incredible game. The level of realism in terms of looks and physics sets the bar at an all time high for PC racing games and with its genuinely challenging gameplay players can expect a real tour de force

The game is looking great and you can judge for yourself by giving the newly released demo a twirl. You get to race on the Barcelona GP track in one of two FIA-GT class cars against up to 15 AI opponents.

GTR 2 will be published by 10tacle studios and distributed throughout Europe by Atari in September 2006.
