This morning saw the release of Asteroids and Asteroids Deluxe on Xbox LIVE Arcade. The pair have been released as a joint offering, priced at the bargain price of only 400 Microsoft Points.
Players will have to save earth from a deadly onslaught of asteroids using a spaceship to shoot and destroy the incoming threat. The games also sport re-mastered HD visuals and a high-speed “throttle monkey” mode. There’s also a bunch of new Achievements to earn and online leaderboards to prove who’s really the best.
