What is the story of the “Assassin’s Creed” Netflix show?

At the moment, no official story has been revealed yet for the show. Although, it is highly likely that the show will focus on brand new characters who are connected to the overarching story of the franchise as well as to some of the key characters in the franchise. As every new “Assassin’s Creed” project outside of the core videogame series, tends to focus on a new character/s within the universe.
