The live action adaptation of Assassin’s Creed is to be rewritten by Adam Cooper and Bill Collageare, Deadline reports.

Cooper and Collageare recently scripted the draft for Exodus: Gods & Kings, Ridley Scott’s Moses movie starring Christian Bale.

Back in October 2012 we heard the Assassin’s Creed movie was being fast-tracked by New Regency, with development of a screenplay to begin immediately.

The movie stars Michael Fassbender, who will also produce, and is set to launch in the US on August 7, 2015.
