Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD will be released digitally for PS3 and PC on January 15, 2014, and at some time in January for Xbox 360, Ubisoft has announced.

As female assassin Aveline players must hunt down and eliminate enemies as they embark on a journey that will take them from the crowded streets of New Orleans to voodoo-haunted swamps and ancient Mayan ruins.

Originally released for PS Vita, Liberation has been completely remastered in high definition, complete with new content and missions that dive deeper into Aveline’s story.

The game will be priced £15.99, but is being offered with a 25 per cent discount for a limited time. All PlayStation 3 and PC players pre-ordering the game on Playstation Network and Uplay will benefit from the discount. In addition, all players that purchase or have already purchased the season pass for Assassins Creed 4 on Xbox 360 will receive the discount.
