Ubisoft has announced details of a fourth Assassin’s Creed III collector’s edition featuring additional exclusive content.
Called the ‘UbiWorkshop Edition’, the new SKU includes an Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 copy of the game plus the second edition of the 334-page Assassin’s Creed Encyclopaedia.
A 208-page graphic novel titled Assassin’s Creed: Subject 4 is also included, containing the entire narrative arc of Daniel Cross/Nikolaï Orelov obtained by merging Assassin’s Creed The Fall and its sequel Assassin’s Creed The Chain.
A PC version, however, doesn’t appear to be available.
The edition is available exclusively via Ubisoft’s UbiWorkshop, where it’ll set you back USD $99.99 (~GBP £65), including free global shipping.
If you want one, though, make sure to get your pre-order in quick; from July 5, the price will increase to USD $109.99 (~GBP £72).
UbiWorkshop Edition is the latest SKU to join Assassin’s Creed III’s range of collector’s editions. Back in March, Ubisoft announced details of Assassin’s Creed III’s ‘Freedom’, ‘Join or Die’ and ‘Special’ editions.
Assassin’s Creed III launches on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on October 31. Wii U and PlayStation Vita versions of the game are rumoured to be shown during E3 next week.
