Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed II will be released for PC on March 5, 2010. The game had originally been planned to launch alongside Xbox 360 and PS3 versions in November 2010, but was delayed in order for the development team to “deliver the best quality game”.

Ubisoft has also confirmed that the game will be available in three editions:

Standard: Main game + Extra sequences Battle of Forli & Bonfire of the Vanities : £39.99

White Edition: Main game + Extra sequences Battle of Forli & Bonfire of the Vanities + 1 Templar Secret location (Santa Maria Dei Frari) : £49.00

Black Edition: Main game + Extra sequences Battle of Forli & Bonfire of the Vanities + 3 Templar secret locations (Palazzo Medici, Santa Maria Dei Frari, and the Arsenal Shipyard) : £59.99
