Ubisoft has announced that the Assassin’s Creed II Battle of Forli DLC will be released worldwide for PS3 and Xbox 360 on January 28.

Battle of Forli promises to expand the Assassin’s Creed II experience by delivering a missing piece of the storyline. Players will join Machiavelli and Caterina Sforza to defend Forli from the Orsi Brothers. Accomplish a daring rescue and prevent the Piece of Eden from falling into the hands of the Templars.

Players will gain access to six challenging new memories and pilot Leonardo’s flying machine across Romagna.

Battle of Forli will be priced 320 MS Points on Xbox 360 and 3.99€ on PS3. This will be followed in February by the slightly larger (ten new memories) Bonfire of the Vanities DLC.
