In addition to the collector’s editions, Ubisoft also revealed details about The Watch, a pre-order programme that grants pre-order customers access to unique content that offers an additional insight into the Assassin’s Creed universe.

The Watch offers players “exclusive access to additional information, bonus content, rewards and the opportunity to take part in an exclusive quest designed specifically for VIP members.”

Members will also become a member of a “select community of Assassin’s Creed fans” who, by the sounds of it, will be given access to a unique social network, where they’re able to “participate in online discussions, upload their own content and compare their skills and achievements”.

Additional information will be revealed via the official website.

And finally, the first in-game footage has been released. It isn’t clear which version of the game the footage has been taken from, but it sure does look prettier than your typical Assassin’s Creed.

Take a look at it below.
